  • Day 1: Arrival

    On this Date up on your arrival, you will meet with your safari guide from Ngaiza Adventures who will introduce to you and pick you from you arrival place to your hotel in Moshi town. Up on reaching your hotel, your guide will present a Kilimanjaro climbing via Lemosho route briefing with the itinerary for the beginning of the next day trekking departure.

  • Day 2: Moshi to Londorosi gate then to Mti Mkubwa camp

    Your day will begin with a 3 to 4 hrs drive from Moshi up on reaching the Londosori gate where you will have to finish up some park regulation and other formalities and you will take some minutes walking back up to the Londorossi/ Lemosho glade where the real train starts. Then you will be trekking upon reaching the Mti Mkubwa camp for your overnight rest. Accompaniment: Experienced Mountain guide/ guides, porters, and chef

    What to see: Small wildlife such as black and white colobus from the gate

    Time and distance: 2 to 3hrs hiking a distance of 6km

  • Day 3: Mti Mkubwa camp to Shira camp

    This seems to be a short trekking day as it takes only 4 to 5 hrs, though the day seems to be short but it is a bit long due to the nature of the trail as it is very steep with some ridges before reaching the Shira plateau, hence you will be having a lot of stops for break to the next.   • Day 4: Shira 1 to Shira Hut

    On this day you will be having a moderate walk across the Shira plateau, though, from here there are several options, but as the guide have experience in any of the options but the beat is walking though the Shira plateau through the Shira cathedral up on reaching the Shira 2 camp.

  • Day 5: Shira Hut to Baranco via the lover tower

    On this day you will be having a walk through the steep up to the lava tower which is the volcanic plug formed when volcanic occurred to the Kilimanjaro. Up on reaching the volcanic plug of the lava tower you will descend down to the Baranco valley this is to be referred as the best day for acclimatization on the day, reaching the Shira hut you are at the Junction between the Machame route and the Shira route.

  • Day 6: Baranco camp to Karanga camp

    On this trekking day you will be having a short day from Baranco to Karanga you will be starting your day by climbing the Baranco wall and then climb up through some hills up on reaching the Karanga valleys.

    What to see: Kibo peak, the Western breach and the southern glaciers

    Walking through: Baranco wall and valleys to Karanga valleys

    Time and distance: 4 to 5 hrs which is 5km distance

    Elevation: 13,044 ft to 13,106 ft

  • Day 7: Karanga to Barafu camp

    After the morning breakfast from the camp, you will leave Karanga and hit the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail. There after you continue the trekking up to the Barafu Hut. From there you have completed the South Circuit. This is the point which offers the great views of the summit from many different angles. Here we make camp, rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the summit day. The two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be seen from this position.

  • Day 8: Summit and descend to Mweka camp

    This is the dream come true day where you will be leaving in the midnight passing between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. You will be heading to the northwesterly direction and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim where you can stop and have some rest. From Stella Point, you may encounter snow all the way on your 1-hour ascent to the summit at the Uhuru peak and from there you will meet a Congratulation spot sight that you have reached the highest peak in Africa and you are on the list of the successful people who has made it to the roof of Africa as you will be certified for that. After the summit you will take your way back descending down until you reach the Mweka camp.

    Walking through: The crater rim

    Accompaniments: Mountain guide/guides, on the summit then joining the chef and porters at Barafu on descending back

    Time and distance: hiking of 5to 7hrs ascending and 5 to 6 hrs, descending a distance of 5km up and 13km down respectively.

    What to see: the great view at the Uhuru peak

    Elevation: 15,350ft to 19,340ft up and 10,150ft down

  • Day 9: Mweka camp to Mweka gate then back to Moshi

    This is the last day of your adventure to the roof of Africa where you will be taking your morning breakfast at the camp and then takes time to continue the descending up to the Mweka gate where you will meet Ngaiza Adventures staff waiting to pick you back to Moshi. On descending at the lower elevation, it will be wet and muddy hence the gaiters and highly recommended to be used. Dinner and overnight at Kilimanjaro Crane hotel

  • Day 10: Moshi – Kilimanjaro to Arusha urban

    This day you will leave in Moshi town at 10:00am to chemka hots spring for swimming and then you will leave Chemka hots spring at the rate evening or at your time to Arusha town where you will overnight for a next safari departure.

  • Day 11: Arusha town to Tarangire National park

    After your breakfast in the morning you will depart from Arusha town heading to the Tarangire national park. You will take some minutes for the last purchase before the safari head off. Thereafter the safari will begin to Tarangire. The park is well known for the big Elephant herd and the vast group of wildlife species such as lion, cheetah, leopard, buffalos, hyenas, zebra, warthogs and the like that you will see. Moreover the park is well known for the ancient and very big sized baobab trees.After the great sighting of the park you will be heating outside the park for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 12: Ngorongoro conservation Area

    After the morning breakfast at MtowaMbu where you had your overnight, you will start to venture in the Ngorongoro conservation area. On reaching the Ngorongoro gate and fulfill all the formalities you will be heading direct to the Ngorongoro crater where you will be descending down the crater which is of a distance of 600m long or reaching crater surface. On ascending and descending the crater expect to spot almost all of the big five such as Lion, Leopard, Buffalos, elephants and Rhinoceros. This is because the crater is the habitat for many animals; therefore, you will be able to spot other wildlife animals such as zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, impalas, hyena cheetah and the like with several species of birds. Then after ascending out the crater you will head to the crater rim for the overnight. Moreover, in the Ngorongoro conservation area expect to meet the famous Maasai culture, because Ngorongoro is the multiple land use area where people live in the wild. Hence you can have fun with the Maasai people over there.

  • Day 13: The Serengeti National park

    On this day after the breakfast in the Ngorongoro you will depart for the Serengeti National park. It will be a drive up to the Naabi hill gate; there you have reached the Serengeti National park. There you will descend to the heart of the African wildlife with an endless plain rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see and this can be well spotted at the Naabi hills. From there you will head to the central area of the park, the Seronera which is one of the richest wildlife habitats and from there you can visit the Seronera visitor center and have your lunch over at the picnic. Here you can have the walking tour on the trail after your lunch. At the center you will see the acacia trees and the rock hyraxes and other animals around the area. From there you will have an afternoon game drive in the park and heading to the accommodation facilities.

  • Day 14: Serengeti National park to Lake Eyasi

    The day will start with the morning breakfast and have the packed lunch box where you will starts the morning game drive, which will be from morning to afternoon in the Serengeti National park. Being the heart of African wildlife, in the Serengeti National Park you might be able to capture a spot on the best big five especially the Elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards and luckily the rhinos. Moreover, you will see variety of other wild animals and birds. After the fascinating game drive you will start heading to the Tanzania Bush man people “the hadzabe” in the Lake Eyasi.

  • Day 15: Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara National park

    On this day you will be fully dissolved in the remained hunters’ tribe in Tanzania which is the “hadzabe people”. With them you will go for hunting and they will teach you how to hunt and the jungle survival skills. They are well known and nicknamed as the Tanzania Bush man because their life resembles those of South African bush man who reside in the forest and have no permanent settlement, as they live on shifting. Moreover, you will learn other cultural practices from this authentic people that their authenticity in nowhere in the world. Nevertheless, you will visit the lake Eyasi for spot fishing which will also be guided by the local hadzabe people, and you can test the local food if interested. This will be a walking tour and after that you will be heading to Manyara for the overnight and dinner.

  • Day 16: Lake Manyara national Park to Arusha

    This is the last day six days tour in the Northern Tanzania tourist destination, which will end up in the Lake Manyara National park which is the park that offers the breathtaking view and a large variety of habitat. The water forests, baobab trees, swamps, acacia woodland, the algae hot spring and the lake Manyara itself. Though the park is not that big in size but it has supported an incredible birdlife and several wildlife species. The park has the concentration of the baboons almost everywhere and its lion are well renowned with the adoptive feature as the tree climbing lions. Thereafter you will be transferred to Arusha town.

  • Day 17: Departure
